## Summary

Forge Utah Foundation's own site, and the only public document that states what the foundation is and
what it runs. Reaching it takes a step: the domains the community circulates — `forgeut.dev`,
`forgeutah.org`, `forgeutah.com` — do not serve a homepage, and `forgeutah.tech` is discoverable only
from the foundation's GitHub organization profile. That is recorded here because a source page whose
URL cannot be found from the obvious guesses is a source page that will be lost.

## Reliability Notes

Self-reported tier: this is the foundation describing itself, so it is strong evidence of what Forge
Utah says it does and weak evidence of scale, activity, or finances. Nothing on the page is dated
beyond "est. 2015", there is no membership or attendance figure, and the meetup list is not a schedule.

Two claims on the page are checkable elsewhere and were checked. The 501(c)(3) claim is corroborated
by the IRS exempt-organizations file, which lists **FORGE FOUNDATION INC**, in care of *Forge Utah
Foundation*, in Lehi, Utah, under subsection 03 — see

That record's ruling date is 2025-07, ten years after the "est. 2015" the site claims, so the
foundation's federal exemption is recent even if the community is not; the page does not explain the
gap and neither does this one.
