## Reliability Notes

Self-reported tier, and specifically an *owner* announcing about its own portfolio company — which
makes it authoritative about the ownership structure (TA has every reason to state its own stake
correctly) and promotional about everything else. The "leading global provider" framing is marketing.

The deal terms were not disclosed. The completion date (2024-09-23) comes from DigiCert's own
newsroom and Clearlake's, not from this announcement, which describes the deal as agreed rather than
closed.

Ownership stakes are not apportioned anywhere public: three sponsors are named, but who holds what
